Live STEAMING Session
It all begins with an idea.
This is my first time working in Jupiter Vision. This project is helping the RMIT CSSA which is a campus organization to set up a live streaming system.
The good thing is we set up it in the studio so we don’t have to move the lighting setup.
The whole system setup is more like the official broadcasting, the most capacity 4 compares in one scene. We prepared 5 ‘Rode wireless go’ microphones all connected through to the ‘Zoom H6n’ for the soundcard audio system, to the ‘Blackmagicdesign ATEM’ Television Studio.
In this project, the most challenging part is we have to control lots of media resources we have to control and play on OBS studio.
we solved the problem by renaming all the video files in obs. And we list the playing sequence on paper, then follow the timing to play.

Result：
We make a plan for the Client with a satisfying price fit with he/her budget. Then we working for it. We create a satisfying media product for them.
In the past few project, I have had a good partnership with ‘Jupiter Vision’. I saw their potential in the industry. So I decide to work with them.
Some analysis of the industry in Melbourne:
Positioning:
We are helping the client produce media products. We provide photography / Videography and design and direct concerts and events backstage.
Problem:
Cotemporary media trend in Melbourne, people hire senior photographers are expensive. And lack of new ideas to catching the attention of fresh graduates and young entrepreneurs aged 20~30.
The problem I found from the media production :
· Hiring senior photographers are expensive.
· It is the lack of new ideas catching the attention of young people
· Client concentration
· have the risk of breaking a contract
directing & experimental
This is a project I working on with a crew. We working on a short film for the overseas Chinese New Year online Festival. The short film was mainly separated one chief director and three executive directors are responsible for script, storyboard, filming.
For the whole film, we spend about 4 days shooting all the footage. When we working on the script we did consider the sequence of scenes, it helps us save more time and be more efficient on shooting.
In the film ‘ Times is money! ’, in each of the frames, we have to consider lots of things: sites, time of the natural light, prop，color of the actor’s clothes how matching with space, cosmetics…etc. We keep everything with a reasonable budget as much as possible!
To be an executive director we have to be familiar with the whole movie workflow, from pre-production to post-production. From this project, I found I still have lots of aspects that need to improve. In my opinion, the storyboard was the weakest part of the film, we did not prepare enough in the pre-production stage. It leads some transitions between the scene less rigorous. Broadly speaking, this cooperation with the crew was satisfying.

It all begins with an idea.
I know the 'Jupiter Vision’ is from a live streaming project invite by the RMIT CSSA which is a campus organization.
I’m responsible executive director for this live streaming project. It was also my first time to the director and set up a middle-sized campaign.
The 'Jupiter Vision’ was one of the sponsors for this campaign, they provide live streaming equipment and technical assistance. At that time I just have some experience using the OBS studio which I learn from the Digital Media Studio 3 my live streaming project. But this time I got the opportunity to use the director units like the Blackmagic ATEM multi-camera switcher. Understand, how to connect the camera then create and send the signal to different platforms. The green screen and lighting technique have a new cognitive.
Overall, we have a cordial working relationship. And see how live streaming technology poplar in the (COVID-19) pandemic situation.
